Una piattaforma, tutta vostra.

Everything you run on Glue Up and Squarespace — and the manual work in between — as one system built around the Chamber: your data, your instance, your brand.

What we heard from Edo, Sarah and the team

You run a tight operation.
Glue Up is where the time leaks.

Members are onboarded, events sell out, 109 campaigns went out this year. All of it works — by hand, in four systems that don't talk to each other.

Membership is manual, end to end.

Google Form → Glue Up → Squarespace: the same company typed three times. Invoices reconciled by hand. Cheques that arrive with no name on them.

Every event is built twice.

Once in Glue Up, once on the website. A walk-in can't be recorded without an email. The check-in app drops offline mid-event.

12,000 contacts you can't clean.

A 1,000-contact upload cap turns one cleanup into a dozen batches. Every EDM counts against an allowance, per recipient. Bounces you can see but can't fix in place.

The work between systems lives in inboxes.

Tasks, the project pipeline per member, sponsorship contracts, the yearly directory e-book — all tracked by hand. Glue Up's AI drafts a paragraph; it never proposes anything.

This is my understanding — correct me where I'm wrong.

What we build

Three apps. One database. Yours.

App 01

The admin app

Where Edo, Sarah and Zohra work. Everything Glue Up does today — rebuilt around how the Chamber actually runs.

Membership & invoices Events & check-in Campaigns & CRM Pipeline, tasks, e-sign
App 02

The members app

Where members serve themselves: profile, e-member card, events & tickets, invoices, renewal.

App 03

The website

Squarespace rebuilt on the same database: directory, event pages, news, newsletter sign-up. Never typed twice.

Membership

Invite → register → pay → live. In minutes, not days.

1 · Edo invites

Name, company, email. Still invite-only — a privilege, not a sign-up form.

2 · Member registers

Company, logo, industry, description, up to 11 contacts — once, by them.

3 · Pays by card

Stripe link on the invoice. Paid = active. No "add payment", no matching.

4 · Live everywhere

CRM, website directory, e-member card, campaign lists — updated together.

Renewal on autopilot

Card on file renews each January under the terms they accepted. Cancel any time; price changes announced in advance. Refund is one click in Stripe.

Card by default, transfer if they must

Today: 0% card, 30% cheque. Stripe's 3.4% replaces Glue Up's 4.6%, and can be passed on as a processing fee. Transfer stays for the corporates that insist.

Members keep themselves current

New representative, new address, new logo — the member changes it, every change is logged, the website and the directory follow. No more update emails.

Events

Build the event once. Everything else follows.

Create

Date, venue, capacity, approval on/off, cut-off, pause.

Tickets

Member-only, early bird, group, promo codes for included tickets, transfer to a colleague.

Publish

The website page is the event page. Campaign and RSVP from the same screen.

Check in

Scan the QR on a tablet. No Wi-Fi? It queues and syncs. Walk-ins added by name only.

Close

Survey to those who came. P&L, show-up rate, campaign clicks — one report.

Sarah's double entry

Campaigns tied to events

Invitation, reminder, RSVP — from the event itself. Newsletters and partner EDMs on their own.

Telemetry you keep

Opens, every link's clicks, bounces, suppressions — per campaign, per contact, on the company page.

Segments, not spreadsheets

"F&B members who haven't attended an event this year" — a filter, then send. No Excel rework.

No allowance to run out of

You pay for hosting, not per recipient. Import the whole 12,000 in one go; export any time.

Your Glue Up numbers this year. The target: bounce rate down, quarter on quarter.

Team

The work between the systems, finally in the system.

Project pipeline per member

What you're doing with each company: events, sponsorship, business matching, translations — on the company page.

Tasks with email nudges

Sarah assigns "post this on Thursday"; the owner gets the email; Zohra sees the board. Salesforce-style, without Salesforce.

E-signature, built in

Sponsorship and service contracts sent as a link, signed and time-stamped, filed on the company page.

Plan of the year

Every event, mission and campaign on one calendar the whole team sees — draft, published, done.

AI inside

Drafts the EDM and the event page. Answers "which F&B members haven't renewed?" Flags members going quiet before renewal. Glue Up stops at the draft.

Notifications by email — no new inbox to check No Monday.com, ClickUp or DocuSign subscription needed
Phase 2 · once Phase 1 is live

Then accounting, missions, mobile — one platform, truly.

The go-to system for everything the Chamber runs. Scoped with Zindy and Zohra at Phase 1 close.

Accounting

Invoices and receipts for everything — memberships, events, services. P&L in the Hong Kong layout and the Italian audit layout, from the same ledger. Xero switched off.

Missions

One repository per delegation: the companies, the documents, the contracts, the invoices. The visiting companies get their own access.

Mobile app

The members app in the pocket: e-member card in Apple / Google Wallet, event tickets, check-in, member promotions.

AI copilot

Proposes, not just answers: who to invite to which event, which members are going quiet before renewal, a first draft of next year's calendar.

Phase 2 is scoped and priced at Phase 1 close — not before we've seen the accounting flows with you.

What we'll need from you, to start

A short list.

An NDA and SA

We need to know the Chamber's operation properly to help — the NDA and the service agreement let us in.

The Glue Up export

Contacts, companies, memberships, invoices and events history — plus admin access to Squarespace and the Google Form.

Your Stripe account

You already have one. We connect it — every membership and ticket payment lands in the Chamber's own account.

A few hours of Edo, Sarah, Zindy — and Zohra

At kickoff and at each touchpoint — so the platform fits how you work, not the reverse.

Read access to a few of your tools (TBC at kickoff). Your data stays in your own environment.

What's included

  • All three apps — admin, members, website — on one database in your own dedicated environment
  • Migration of 12,000 contacts, companies, memberships, invoices and events history from Glue Up
  • Two weeks of UAT on a real month, in parallel with Glue Up, before cut-over
  • You own your data, your instance and your brand — exportable any time, with a perpetual licence to run the platform; Midas owns the code and licenses it to other chambers

Financial incentive · Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap. 112), Schedule 45

A 300% R&D deduction — worth up to HKD 158,400.

Midas is a Designated Local Research Institution — so the build fee qualifies for Hong Kong's 300% enhanced R&D deduction under Schedule 45.

What it is worth depends on the Chamber's own profits-tax position — chambers are assessed on non-member income (events, services, sponsorship); the two-tier rate is 8.25% on the first HKD 2M of profits, 16.5% above; unused deductions carry forward. From here to kickoff

Three steps to start.

A simple path from your green light to the first touchpoint — with 1A in your hands four weeks after kickoff.

Step 01

Green light.

A short call when Zohra is back in mid-October: walk through this plan, shape the scope together, agree the founding-chamber terms.

Step 02

NDA & SA.

Midas circulates the NDA and the service agreement with the Phase 1 statement of work. You sign — about a week.

Step 03

Kickoff & Week 0.

You hand over the Glue Up export, Stripe and Squarespace access — and the build starts. Live before Glue Up's term ends.
